    • I think the movie will going to be a block buster hit. 500 Days of Summer is a different take on the romantic comedy, where boy gets girl, loses girl, gets her back, but this is supposed to be a lot more realistic. (Because everyone looks that good in real life – and wears makeup!) The film stars Joseph Gordon Levitt and Zooey Deschanel. Levitt previously had been on TV shows like Roseanne and most notably 3rd Rock from the Sun, and films such as 10 Things I Hate About You, before taking a break to complete a degree at Columbia University. Regardless if 500 Days of Summer is a smash, he isn't likely to need a cash advance.

    • zooey deschanel may be my favorite actress because of 'all the real girls'. and that may have to do more with david gordon green then her. the scene is cute...i just wish more 'indie' directors were influenced by the likes of john cassavetes, harmony korine, kelly reichardt, etc. and less by hollywood.

      i actually had a chance to see this at the arizona film fest but opted for the documentary 'garbage dreams' about a trash recycling community on the outskirts of cairo instead.
