Eastern Star is releasing a gem of a film called Oh! My Zombie Mermaid! in July. The first question you might ask is, "why haven't I heard about this film sooner?" Well, I guess that's just my own fault. I should have paid more attention, and I apologize profusely for that.
"What's the film about," you may ask. There's no story, says the trailer. Well, that doesn't help. I guess I have no choice but to turn to Nippon Cinema for this one (and for the trailer). The leader of a pro-wrestling organization is throwing a housewarming party for his new mansion. Of course, his rivals come and crash the party, inciting a fight. The man's girl gets injured and contracts a mysterious disease in the fight, which I assume turns her into the zombie mermaid.
"What can we expect from the film," I'm sure you're wondering. Well, according to the trailer above, the film is "overly grotesque" and "the casting is weak!" So, you know what this means: It's going to be a great B-movie to sit and watch with friends. The film will hit store shelves on July 28th, so feel free to get it for my birthday! *nudge nudge*
