looks like he's playing hardball, going on record and all that...

"Lucas, No. 23 on the New Establishment and worth $3 billion, is executive-producing the World War II movie Red Tails, about the African-American fighter pilots known as the Tuskegee Airmen, which is currently filming in Prague. He would also like to shoot the upcoming Star Wars TV series in the city, but he is taking issue with the way the Czech government deals with film crews, criticizing it for failing to create tax policies that favor movie production in the dour economy. The newspaper quoted Lucas as saying that “the financial crisis is causing more problems for the film industry than almost any other business, so logically we are looking for the most best [sic] conditions, and nowadays they are offered in many countries in Europe.” He referenced Hungary, Australia, and states within the U.S. as examples of locations that were providing the kind of tax breaks that would lure the film industry away from the Czech Republic."
