Hiro from Heroes producing MMORPG movie

Masi Oki, the guy who plays Hiro in Heroes is awesome - not only does he play one of the only two likeable characters in Heroes (the other is Ando, obviously), but according to Wikipedia, when not working on Heroes, he still works on his old job as a CGI programmer. He's very much the geek's geek.

Now he's announced though that he's developing a film with DreamWorks, where the premise is that people who only know each other via a MMORPG have to meet up in real life to deal with a threat... but will they live up to their online identities?!

"The Defenders", as he's called it, sounds fascinating. I suspect it will either be very good or very bad.

It's also a smart move for Oki - as is ANYONE still watching Heroes? I soldiered through series 2 and the first bit of 3, until Daphne got shot. Which I think is quite impressive.
