In a an incident, semmingly BLOWN out of proportion, eight young moviemakers are facing indecent exposure charges for allegedly filming simulated sex acts on a South Carolina beach.

Myrtle Beach cops rounded up the group--all of whom attend or have graduated from the North Carolina School of the Arts--after witnesses reported seeing a woman "fellating or simulating fellatio" on a man late Wednesday evening...

... One of those busted told TSG that the group was filming "Beach Week," a comedy about six college students, and that "there was nothing illegal going on" during filming, which included no nudity...

    • I just can't get over how much I hate cops. I have never been in any real trouble before but every interaction I have ever had with them they have always been egomaniacal smart-asses. They are just overgrown bullys in costumes rolling around in their cop car toys feeling self righteous and laughing about all the people they screw over like these kids. I am sure there are a few good guys out there who really want to do a good job and help people, but they are definitely the minority.

    • I'm from SC, and this isn't unusual for the cops there. they'll probably get busted for shooting without a permit, something you usually can get away with.

I learned early on, if you're going to do something that law enforcement might enjoy busting up, you have to have your ducks in a row and your paperwork filled out, otherwise, you get charge with an unrelated technicality.

    • well it depends how 'simulated' it was....

im all for liberty and shit but these days it pays not to do anything that may be considered even close to illegal. then consider other people on the beach, if they did something like that in front of my kids i would be pissed.
