Review: Brüno

As Brüno begins, a Eurotrash techno song ramps up, and flashbulbs go off as the word Brüno hits the screen, slowly growing bigger as the song kicks in and pulsates, and suddenly there is an assault of images and huge words that fill the screen like "Black Guys" and, of course, "Brüno." All of this signals a movie that believes itself to be epic on a Fritz Langian scale, which is apropos for the delusional title character who wants nothing more than to be world famous and is unaware of his own insignificance.
