Actor Ryan Reynolds has a new Hollywood proposal. The rising star beat out Bradley Cooper, Jared Leto and a rumored Justin Timberlake to land the starring role in "The Green Lantern."

    • Another great addition to the Smallville sequel series
      The Justice League, assuming they produce it. The Green Lantern was part of the original Justice League
      animated series which Warner Brothers produced from the late 90s to 2002 or 2003.( It followed Superman, the animated series which came out earlier in the 1990s) They found it to be so popular they reprised it as Justice League Unlimited in a series lasting through 2006. And it's still going strong. I saw an animated made for TV movie involving a new Justice League adventure last Winter. Ryan Reynolds worked well with Jessica Biel in Blade Trinity. So if mesrs.Gough and Milar, who now produce Smallville, do follow that up with the logical sequel series featuring Superman as the center of the Justice League...And the movie Green Lantern is well
      received, who knows ? Perhaps he'll join the cast of
      The Justice League too. That would be terrific.
