    • I was fascinated by this movie - I knew it had Sam Rockwell in it (massive fan of his) and I knew it had, rather intriguingly, the 'voice' of Kevin Spacey in it too. Saw it, loved it.

Sam Rockwell is really tested in Moon, and he absolutely delivers a brilliant performance - you don't really notice that he's pretty much the only actor in the film because he's just so compelling.

Another fab thing about this film is the soundtrack - it's so many things; menacing, spooky, beautiful and serene. Much like the moon itself :)

    • Really enjoyed it, would probably give it 7 out of 10.

Sam Rockwell carries the film brilliantly (twice!), I actually liked the slgihtly low budget effects, and the story was really good: complex and gripping without being impenetrable.

    • Predictably, Rockwell is the sole human superintendent of the mechanised moon-mine, all alone in the tatty, mussed-up spaces of this space station, which has a very Kubrick-70s design, he scoffs his microwaved meals and grows a beard. His only companion, is the extremely annoying computer-helpmeet with an ironic voice provided by Kevin Spacey.

I say director Duncan Jonesspent a few hours too many watching Kubrick’s 2001. Great visuals but I doubt I’ll be buying this one on DVD.

    • Although it's not as deep as some Sci Fi films, the dark humor and plot keep it going. Nice to see a robot not being evil for once.
