    • def true, but tobacco companies have adulterated the product so much that it has become the killer that we know of today, they should let everyone just grow their own (tobacco and herb)...

    • I can't wait to see this. I love everything Kevin Spacey has done from "Se7en" to "Beyond the Sea." I think he likes to present provocative material to spark conversations much like this one.

    • Its a trend bacause people in hollywood who make movies sometimes like drugs and that will come out in their movies. Psychiatrists all have differing opinions about what people need to help them get through their troubles; some say smoke marijuana, others perscribe antidepressant pills, and others might even say not to use drugs at all.
By the way JackHerer (props on picking a great strain of marijuana for your name) tobacco is not really a drug, nor is marijuana. They each contain drugs, but they are just plants. Tobacco contains nicotine, and nicotine does not cause a "deadly cycle of stress". Nicotine is great for stress, just like the most active drug in marijuana, THC.

idealist, stress is increased when you are consistently thinking about it, with the use of marijuana it is so easy to forget all the problems around you and in turn you decrease the amount of stress because you aren't feeding it. Not to say that you're wrong, I'm just saying. :-)

smoking cigarettes does not lead to high blood pressure, its temporarily increases your blood pressure due to the nicotine in your system releasing epinephrine, your blood pressure goes back to normal levels once the chemicals leave your body.

    • Its a trend because its the truth!!

over the ages shrinks have been known to "recomend" ways for people to cope with issues.
(i bet alot of them stand bye the allmighty pot)
back in the day it used to belegal to give couples, in couples thearapy, "extacey" to bring them closer together.
what im trying to say is, "shrinks" have there problems to, and tobacco is a deadly cycle of stress, & the only other drug that is still in herb form is sweet sweet ganja!!
& if it helps it helps!
thats why its regarded as "medical".
heroin never helped anyone, that why you rarely hear of medical heroin.(could be a good movie though)
but if smokeing herb helps then what kind of "shrink" wouldent subscribe it to people?... or them selves for that matter.

      trendy? mabey just real life.
