The Cove is a 91-minute documentary about the hitherto secret slaughter of dolphins at a secluded cove in the Japanese seafaring town of Taiji. But what starts as an attempt to document the annual September kill turns into a thrilling cat-and-mouse game between the film crew on one side and the Taiji cops, its fisherman’s union, and some thugs on the other.

I've followed this issue for a few years on http://www.bluevoice.org but unfortunately The Cove wasn't shown here locally at our film festival. I really want to see it and hope it gets a larger release.
