Image

Two Russian Sukhoi Su-35 pilots were paid a nice sum by a movie producer to fly without a canopy, with one pilot having to eject while traveling at Mach 2.0.

    • It would be kind of kewl if we could just goad the damn mutherfuckers---" Hey Sergei,....Rhagoulli Hed Mussulmaniac over there at the bar called your mother a fish-egg eating whore,...and says your toooooo... Pussy to do anything about it" !

Hmmmmmmm,.....Think we could just get em to TAKE OUR PLACE in Afghanistan !??

    • o those crazy russians! imagine the paper work and health and safety forms to get an American or Brittish pilot to do that... lol. would never happen, looks amazing though. Ye maybe JB or could be Michael Mann, he doesn't really use CGI at all.

    • Mach 10! Mach 10!

Why not just CGI it? Surely that's cheaper than going to all that effort? And how did the photographer/cameraman's plane keep up?

Ye but would never look like the same as the footage they probably got, they will still have to get in in the computer to clean it up, it will look amazing.

    • This has to be *the* best second job ever. Some people serve drinks in a bar, some wait tables in a restaurant, but these guys get to eject out of planes at Mach 2.0 and then go back to their 'normal' day jobs of flying fighter jets.

I actually submitted this myself and then saw yours so deleted it. Great post Dannybee, I've featured this on the UK Homepage Top 6 Featured Stories.

    • Checked out the plane on youtube and it looks as if its nose is supposed to point at an angle like that.

Originally it looked like the plane had been torn in half by the pilot's ejection.

      Mach 2? That's absolutely nuts.
