So the government is hopelessly incompetent....yet at the same time smart enough to brilliantly orchestrate the imprisionment millions of people as "enemies of the state"?

It just doesn't make any sense.

I read the Da Vinci Code too and I love a great conspiracy theory...but this one just doesn't make any sense.

It would require a massive military coup to successfully Imprision 120 million people. You would literally need EVERYONE in the Army (actual soldiers) to AGREE to round up little old ladies. Can't picture the majority of our generals and commanders agreeing to obey any President who says "Round up everyone on Maple Street! Kill anyone that resists!" Then you would need ordinary citizens (tens of thousands of them!) to AGREE to imprision little old ladies in these camps and work as gaurds, cooks, work the laundry room, etc.

And how would we pay for it? How would we (or rather "they") pay to house, feed and provide healthcare for 120 million "enemies of the state"???? How would pay for all the support staff?

This would make a great movie-of-the-week but the logistics of actually trying to do this doesn't pass the sniff test.

Its a fun theory. Fun in the sense of telling ghosts stories is "fun" but this isn't not anywhere close to being plausible.

FEMA Camps: A project that I believe was begun during the Cheney Administration. The one thing that will trigger disaster is if we don't start behaving like responsible adults. We need to get our act together or these things will inevitably be used.

Manage our economy, our domestic health, and start figuring out how to control our population growth and manage our resources.... it will lead to homeless camps, rebellion, and eventually mass death.

Start now, build Renewable Industries, and EDUCATE yourself so you can be useful to the world instead of just a baby-maker. Baby-making is important too but it shouldn't be a persons only contribution to the world.

So the government that CANNOT employee, house, feed or provide healthcare for millions of people........is now going to feed, house and provide healthcare to millions of people housed in a nationwide network of prison camps????

And why exactly would the ruling party need to lock people up?

Because they are afraid of "mass demonstrations"? Those are possible....assuming American Idol isn't on that night.

And how would we maintain our trade relations with Europe if we imprisioned 120 million people?

This all sounds great on paper, but the boring everyday logistics of it all make it sounds really, really impractical and unnecessary.

Bush did more to rewrite the Consitution with signing statements then he did by sending armed troops to dissolve the Congress, didn't he?

and we're all shocked and dismayed why? it's not like this started last week or last month.....

maybe they'll be test new strains of biological warfare there.......

Maybe if the administration calls them "Family Camps" there will be less of a uproar. I just hope you Americans can straighten out this mess without it spilling over the border.

It really is amusing how people just laugh all of this stuff off as if it didnt even exist...The camps do actually exist people...the only subject in question is what are they for? What information do you people who believe this is a laughing matter posses? Can you share,instead of just "acting" like you are so aware....
