Passing Strange the Movie isn't weird at all

Enlivened by the presentation, Passing Strange is special. The actors are uniformly excellent and the toe-tapping gospel rock music is almost opera-like in the way it moves the story along. I have never seen a play brought so much to life as Spike Lee does here.
