Just as Halloween II is opening, news comes that Rob Zombie's next project won't be the long-gestating tale of a pit fighter by the name of T-Rex but...The Blob!
Zombie swears to Variety it won't be "jello" and it'll be "science fiction" instead of horror. Still, the article stresses that Zombie's been given a $39 million budget while namechecking Cloverfield and District 9 for what they could do with their own effects.
Now all he needs to do is remake White Zombie.
