9.11 Conspiracy Weary?? - Zeitgeist - The Movie: World Trade Center

Insanity, not worth thinking about.

Is this movie new to people? Weird. I thought everyone knew about it.

I know it's much easier to dismiss something u don't understand, but to call the zeitgeist movement a cult is dismissive and shows a true lack of understanding.

It's all based on pretty sound science.

And as for the religious claims and the *debunking* of zeitgeist, the latest radio show on blogtalk radio adresses and undebunks the first movie :-D

Bring something valid to the table instead of semantic talk of a *cult*.

Zeitgeist, does have some factual value. The Carlyle Group does exist and it is made up of very powerful corporate interest whose goals are not in the best interest of the people in general.
Another true fact is that many Islamic fundimentalist were employed by the CIA during the long Afghan war with the former Soviet Union and that after the defeat of the Soviet Union and their withdrawl from Afghanistan the CIA and U.S. Government left them hanging in the breeze without any further support at all. They and their sons have since allied themselves with either the Taliban or AL Qaeda and now work against the U.S. misson in Afghanistan.
What people should take from Zeitgeist is that the interest of the average American is not the driving factor for those like the Carlyle Group who make billions off of war.
The Federal Reserve Bank is a whole different story. We the people should own the Federal Reserve Bank. Which at this point in time we do not.

zeitgeist is paranoia.

check facts first, watch zeitgeist second other wise you endanger yourself of joining a cult like mentality based less on truth and more on...whatever it is cults offer.

I heard it was JFK, Jim Morrison, and Elvis flying the planes. This cover up is 50 years in the making. Wake up America, we hate ourselves........ stupid people will believe anything!

Powerful and probably true, I don't see how it couldn't be. There are some shady people in this world and they'd kill their own family to get ahead... they'd blow up some buildings too.

I'm not sure if I got this right, but what I got from the video, is that they said the U.S. Government knew the 9/11 attack was going to happen and the U.S. Government carried out the 9/11 attack. So the video is saying the U.S. Government knew they were going carry out the attack?

Like araalter points out, some of the claims in the movie are suspect. I have not performed thorough research into all of the claims, but from what I have researched, I can say that the film is about as true as the official "truth."

That being said, it should force you to think and examine your world around you. Wake up and realize that your accepted world view is most likely not your own.

Question authority.

Only time will tell what happened that day and for what reason.

In the meantime, we should focus our efforts to making sure the wool never gets pulled over our eyes again. If there's anything to be learned about the events of 9/11, it's that people are easily coerced through mainstream media to believe anything.

The major media is amazing at spinning an event a certain way. And most are stuck with their impression of what happened.

This movie gave way to a more concise description of the problem with our world and the solution to our problems. Zeitgeist: Addendum.

I urge everyone to watch both and JOIN THE ZEITGEIST MOVEMENT as we attempt to bring everyone together for a greater cause.

One thing is for sure Richard Clark the senoir advisor to Presidents George H.W. Bush and Bill Clinton warned both President George W. Bush and Donald Rumsfeld about the imminent threat posed by Al Qaeda and Bin Laden when they assumed the office of the President and Sec of Defense. Richard Clark was blown off like grain of dust in a tornado and 9/11 happened. This is fact.
Bush and Cheney didn't bomb our country but they were grossly negligent in their inaction about bin Laden and Al Qaeda in their frst nine months in office. Not to mention the next eight years.

alot of exsplosive experts say the tower couldent have fallen like that with just the planes hitting them, and that they fell like bulidings do when there demolished with bombs on the inside.
i remember when it happend there were shows that they showed students on how it WAS possible and how it happend...

bt then there was that thing about how one of the supposed hijackers passport was found on the ground, some how escapeing everything thing else that got incinerated....

i bit much i think....

I liked this movie. I watched addendum before the movie and found the interviews with John Perkins and Jacque Fresco the most interesting.

Which is a great film too.

Im on of the people that think that if a film makes you think, then its good.

Zeitgeist makes a lot of very blatantly false claims, not least of which include conflating Horus with Jesus (a claim any egyptologist who is remotely familiar with their own subject will confirm is untrue). Zeitgeist also does not cite very many legitimate sources, and many of the sources they do cite are suspect. Quotes are taken out of context to fit the movie maker's personal agenda. Quotes are mined from sources that have ulterior motives, like the anti-semitic congressman Louis McFadden.

Good movie..
Anything that inspires some conversation and critical thinking about government cover ups and the problems with organized religion gets 2 thumbs up from me.
