Red Dawn Remake Filming Locations and Updates

If anyone lives in an area, that they know will be used for filming, or have seen signs (permits) or sees sets being built let us know and we will get that information listed. The Crew is trying to keep details secret and people away. But even if its a crappy movie, its still special to see it and be a part of it.
Several cities will be used for the filming of the remake of “Red Dawn.” .
Pontiac, Downtown Detroit, Royal Oak, Mount Clemens and a recreation center in Highland Park will be used as locations in the film.
The production is also expected to film some scenes in either the northern part of the lower peninsula or the upper peninsula.

Last night Red Dawn filming occured in the area of 143 N Main St in Mt. Clemens at the bar, forming the full kilt. We have information they had lights on the County Building and Courthouse which is located at 10 N Main St. We have no definite information, but filming may occur there.
We do know for sure that Harper woods High (Middle) school will be used as a location. 20225 Beaconsfield St Harper Woods, MI
Updated Information: (Thanks to the school administrator for sharing) Filming at the school will occur September 9, 10, and 11 at around 6:30 in the evening.
Update: I received information that they will practicing the parachute drop. If anyone is able to go out there, let us know what you see or what happened. If you can send us pictures!!
Rumor that Red Dawn is going to be filming in Mt. Clemens, MI on Kendrick St. Let us know if you have more information
- updated information (Thanks Tom) Filming on Kendricks St. in Mt. Clemens is slated for Sept. 10th. thru the 14th. which is the date the house (prop) is supposed to be imploded. Filming on Sept. 11 will be from 5 pm til 7am and Sept. 14 from 6 am til 9pm
