Jim Carrey is one of my favorite actors for one simple reason, hes superb. He is top of the line when it comes to acting and this sacrifice merely further proves that. 50 pounds isn't easy to gain at all, if you don't beleive me just try to gain 10 pounds.

Can"t they just work that out with make up? I am perfectly fine with actors "getting into a role," but I am not in favor of some one changing their physical being for the sake of a role.
