Venom might be one of Spider-Man's arch enemies, and Gary Ross will be writing the script for the movie... and possibly to direct the film, which would be his first since 2003's "Seabiscuit".
The studio who are making the Venom movie, are not commenting Ross' role at the moment. Gary is already writing for the next Spider-Man movie.
