Subconscious Art - Graffiti Removal

StrangE2U
I saw this on IFC and found it very interesting. For the longest time I have said that there is a certain appeal to the squares, rectangles and odd shapes that come out of the cover-up paint that is applied to graffiti. Having lived in Detroit, I saw this stuff all of the time, and while a lot of it is not anything to be amazed at, there are some that really do catch your eye.

The statement in this film that does depress me a bit is when she (the narrator) points out that more funds are spent on the removal of graffiti, rather than on the arts... c'est la vie.
