    • Its funny how our native plants have taken over the outside of our house 'Adams Family Style' without any watering or chemicals. Our lawn on the other hand, which is considered a weed type of grass in other states, needs constant cutting, watering, and chemicals (which we don't do). Meanwhile the pine trees that have been growing here before us have all dissapeared because of the "messy pine needles" and the soil that is perfect for the pines is not perfect for the grass! Correct me if I am wrong; but I think In the state of Florida you can grow more variety of trees than in any other state, and as I look around there a less and less trees in communities, (leaving houses exposed to harsh heat in the long summers) with groomed lawns that cost fortunes to maintain. Its all backwards here!

    • Yea, I think lawns are way over rated! Wish my neighbors would stop harassing us and stop stressing out my parents. Just get some local plants DUH! Besides the chemicals, it's a waste of water! Why are people so stupid?
