We just had Jamin and Kiowa on our Film Courage radio show this past week. Their interview has shattered all records for our show from most listens, most downloads, and most page views. All of this in it's first week online. I believe it is a MUST listen. It is an in-depth case study on the money it took to make INK, their decision to retain the rights to their film and self-distribute and even highlights their deals with Blockbuster and Netflix.

Here is the interview: Jamin Winans and Kiowa Winans on Film Courage (Get interview link at website - Pericles)

So now, just two days away from wide-release on NOVEMBER 10th, 2009, on iTunes, Amazon, Netflix, Blockbuster (they even have Region 0 DVD's where it can be seen anywhere in the world) the pirates come thieving.

This news has been sinking in all day. On one side it absolutely infuriates me and on the other I am completely overjoyed...

    • First, torrents should be removed, Torrents are the main source for the people to download the movies, and few sites like megaupload, duckload, filezzz, uploadbox, These sites actually offers great service for file storage, but the culprits who are uploading the movie, they always use such sites and mend money for stupid affiliates and ppc programmes

Aiplex is the only company in the world to give anti movie piracy solution, We work 24/7 to monitor uploads and remove them with legal panel, We recently worked on two major movies, we proved by removing 90% of the uploads, The production company were really happy to compare their movie download ration with other movies released at the same time

To opt this , kindly contact us

Ok so let me see if i got this right!

Your provide a service by there you remove the ability of indie filmmakers to distribute they're films to a worldwide audience trough torrents at zero cost of marketing, and for this your charge them with extra cost by providing zero income for them and force them to ask big distributors that will deny them the distribution.
And you got to show that 90% was successfully blocked? You don't even have access to 5% of the torrent sites and all the other distribution channels, how can you brag you stopped 90% of it. God i laughed so hard i tear fell off.

In short, your work for the RIAA/MPAA and would like to back stab indie filmmakers in the back together will your customers and they're customers because your business model breaks apart like a sand castle.

Just so you can smash you head against a wall i'll donate to INK. And you can go jump off a bridge now, thank you!

    • no matter the artistic merit, nothing is above being "pirated". listening and watching to good stuff is kind of the point actually.

    • Movie Piracy, today, seems to be a good thing. Not so much on other days. I absolutely loved INK and will continue to support all of Jamin Winans' films.
