The Sex and the City 2 leaked script: All the details

NY Post is reporting Israeli newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth has published details on the Sex and the City sequel after getting its hands on a leaked script. For months now, rumors have been circulating about some of the key plot points–the girls being affected by the recession, more marital woes, flashbacks. Most of the changes in the sequel reflect our troubled economy, an unnamed production insider says the sequel’s wardrobe will be “less over-the-top but still stylish.”

WARNING: SPOILERS AHEAD!

* Carrie and Mr. Big have more trouble. After a major money loss in a financial scam (a la Madoff), Big has to take work in London, where he lives in a dump of an apartment and cheats on Carrie. SAD FACE. Carrie finds out and dumps him, only to find out later that he’s preggers!!!!
* Carrie’s gay bestie Stanford

    • In REAL life, women who walk around the city dressed like the character of Carrie will either get attacked, or have their purses stolen, on a weekly basis. Why? BECAUSE A PERSON CAN'T RUN IN "MANOLO BLAHNIKS." Wearing those expensive, unstable shoes to traverse Manhattan is the mental equivalent of painting a bullseye on your forehead. It makes you an INSTANT target for criminals - real New Yorkers aren't that stupid.

      If the above photo is a forecast for the sequel, I'd say that at the very least, its a step in the right direction. The Charlotte character seem more intelligent than ever before in this photo, because she's wearing sneakers! Finally, a little realism! Carrie just looks like the desperate and clownish fashion slave that she always has been...
