“Bad Lieutenant: Port of Call New Orleans” is the most demented piece of filmmaking I have seen since David Cronenberg’s “Existenz.” And that, folks, was a pretty screwed up movie, and I mean this in a very good way (“Existenz” is, after all, one of my top five favorite David Cronenberg films).
