    • The film definitely caught my attention, I loved the fighting scenes...,the blood was overwhelming, but obviously done on purpose with the intention to create this surreal-comicbook feel to the image and editing. I thought the Korean star rain did a great job.

I'm actually going to Korea in Feb...would love to feel the response from there.

    • What's wrong with shots of Rain's glistening muscular body? Those are my favorite parts. All of him! I mean, THEM. All of them.

    • I wonder if there has been any controversy over the fact that a Korean star was chosen to portray the protagonist. I know that back in 2005, there were both Chinese and Japanese backlash over the casting choices made by "Memoirs of a Geisha". Perhaps Rain's starpower and raw sexiness has subsided any kind of resentment.

See they got around that ethnicity problem by making the clan equal-opportunity -- you know the kidnapped kids were of different nationalities. So Raizo could've been Korean for all we know.

    • The movie was AWESOME.
The story line was OK, not a Citizen Kane but good enough to keep your interest and attention.

But dude was FINE... epic glistening abdominals(i mean hot damn)...and the crazy ninja shadow action was great to.

    • Comparing this to Kill Bill is a fallacy, seeing as Kill Bill was a self-indulgent, hackneyed piece of shame from the usually brilliant Tarantino; this film on the other hand, knew exactly what it was, and didn't try to be anything else (which would have failed). Anyone with a New Moon poster in their room should not be allowed to rate films.
