    • BEST 2009 "DESTRUCTION OF THE EARTH" SCENE IN A MOVIE

The crowd undadog beats the betting favorite. Dissed, dismissed, and left for dead.

Suggestion: Show a few seconds of the Knowing's flaming wave of distuction vs the car escape from death in 2012 (maybe in place of my 5 second mention of the fiery wall). Plenty of good video here to edit something great. Maybe [award show] crowd reaction audio in background?...

Oh my God Matt Sameck, I think about the editors all the time. They are the people that really make this show possible. Everything I do, I do with them in mind so I hope I haven't pissed them off this year. I enunciate, make sure the house is quiet and the air conditioner is off, leave spaces between my punch lines, keep my head centered, and make sure the lighting is perfect, all for them. And if they end up reading this, sorry for you having to flip my backwards poster around that one time. I thought it was funny at the time but I now see the error in my ways.

    • BEST 2009 SCREEN ACTOR "OFF-SCREEN" PERFORMANCE

Suggestion: Adding a few seconds of actual Bale sound bite between my announcement and my supporting sentence. Maybe replace my "I know now why you cry..." ending with actual "I know now why you cry..." (from T2) video bite. Plenty of good video here to edit something great. Maybe [award show] crowd reaction audio in background?...

thanks, yea, he can definitely be eloquent at times, but bragging about how you love to tell girls 'no' during sex - after you've been found guilty of rape - probably not the best idea

      *response to thank you video*

wow, this was really humble, & well-said. I too am grateful for the time I made the show (& so was my haiku), & I've definitely enjoyed watching the show & its witty approach to film criticism.

*I too acquired a workpint copy of Wolverine, but I never got a chance to watch it, I had a distant relative visit on the weekend it hit theaters, & I guess nothing else was out - because we paid to see the movie we each already had (even though the studio lied & said the theater version was completely different), & it turned out to be the worst movie I'd seen since Punisher:War Zone, & now I find out that the workprint version was actually enjoyable...thanks.

Joe, you're truly one of the coolest people I've met on Current, and a fantastic addition to the Rotten Tomatoes Show. I'm glad you're on it so regularly, and it just goes to show how awesome you are that even your thank you video is funny and inspiring.

I agree with the sentiments that Joey's put out in this video, and only wish I was as articulate and thoughtful enough to put them on webcam like he did. Thank you Joe, and thank you Rotten Tomatoes, for an excellent and exciting year in movies and movie reviews.

*I thought the same thing about wolverine's claws, especially in the bathroom scene, I mean how is it that they could make the f/x perfect nine years ago, but now they can't?
