Mini Trailer Time: Showgirls The Return is WTF Worthy
Germany, I am dissap--man, that wet and naked woman sure is crawling on the ground for a long time.
Where was I? Oh, right, so you'll find the trailer for Showgirls: The Return at the bottom of this entry. You may ask why I'm not even botheriing with an embed for this. And that's really simple: the trailer is NSFW so hard that you take your own work-safeness into your hands by watching it here [again, NSFW].
So what's it about? Well, according to Movieline, it's worth nine scenes of pure insanity. JoBlo has a translated plot description that involves the brother of another stripper/dancer (apparently, Hope from the original) who travels to Frankfurt after she overdoses on coke. Yeah. I don't know who Hope was either, and it doesn't seem like anyone remotely connected to the first film is coming back.
Basically, this seems like one of those fun films that a director made due to the insane amounts of German tax breaks he got because of it. Or else, someone knew a lot of coke-addled strippers who were willing to crawl along a wet floor, hit each other with dumbbells and then randomly dance in a window. On a skyscraper.
