Four years, two trips and 11 weeks in west Africa. The first trip was just 'for fun', an overland adventure to Timbuktu Mali. When arriving back in America we realized the dire need for clean water in a small village we had passed through in the upper east region of Ghana. We created the project 'Just a Drop' and two years later with the help of our local Rotary group we returned with the funds to build a clean water well... while there we took on the project of assessing four more villages to create the new project, the Ripple Effect.
