    • I wrote a scifi script. It got there about seven days after they paid two other guys. But more than one said it was the best script in town.

    • Whoa. Strong feelings about this, huh, remanns? I think of this like when the "SyFy" channel did Earthsea: watch for about 5 min just to see how they did; It will suck so turn it off; then never ever, ever, ever think about it again.

      Asimov is the equivalent of a Roman "house hold god" to me. "I Robot "-the Movie,...made me want to ,....well, reenact a certain "I cry for justice" scene,...from the HBO Rome series,....at the doorstep of Hollywood.

      ( I don't think this PARTICULAR relationship was mutually consentient, Hollywood hacks never managed to seduce a movie out of Asimov while he lived,....for good reason. This looks like a second round of corps fucking.)

      p.s. ----heh. that should have been "corpse",....but 'come' to think of it ,...it does have a certain big money commercial train line gang bang necromaniac victory march tempo to it.

    • Boo, hiss.
      Foundation would HAVE to be filmed as a trilogy. Anything other than that is sacrilege. It won't even be worth renting if they try and squeeze it all into one movie. At best, a high priced mini-series would do it. *sigh*
      Why is everyone determined to keep sci-fi films in the crapper?
