From going by Twitter, many are not happy with the pick of Claudia Winkleman as host of Film 2010 after Jonathan Ross leaves the position.
I might have to agree with twitter, she's a good telly personality (from what I've seen on other shows) and I would not be surprised if she got her own chat show, but I never thought Winkleman would be a perfect pick for a film review show.
However, fans of the show will just hope that she'll fight against the criticism and bring something new to the show they weren't expecting, going to give her a chance before fully judging the new host.
Many fans were hoping established critic Mark Kermode would take the spot, but he made it pretty clear on 'Kermode and Mayo's Film Review' the reasons why he wouldn't go for or be picked for the job. It consisted of not being able to swoon over the big blockbuster hits and a preference for films made away from Hollywood. He talks about it at [1:05.23]

Firstly, she doesn't strike me as someone who has a very in depth knowledge of film or major presenting roles.
Secondly, perhaps nobody more suitable put themselves forward for this role as they didn't want to stand in Ross' shadow?
