“To Build a Home” is a beautifully haunting short film/music video addressing the subject of death and coping with the loss of one’s partner, produced by England’s Up The Resolution with music by The Cinematic Orchestra. The film chronicles the final hours of a dying woman, while her dedicated partner faithfully provides loving care and comfort in her final moments. In the second part of the short, we see the heartbroken man coming to terms with the loss of his beloved and struggling to face a future without the woman he loves. Reviewers have rightly claimed that “To Build a Home” is one of the most aesthetically pleasing experiences you’re likely to encounter in the world of live-action film.
