SACHA Baron Cohen, aka Bruno, claimed victory in a lawsuit brought against him by a bingo player.

Richelle Olson accused the comic actor of sabotaging her bingo game, during the filming of hit movie Bruno in 2007, and causing her emotional distress.

But instead of backing her claim for $US25,000 ($27,560) in damages, the judge turned the tables and ordered her to pay Sacha's legal fees of $US17,000 ($18,800).

The accuser originally claimed that the British actor wreaked havoc at her bingo game in California when he turned up in full Bruno garb and that he ordered his camera crew to attack her when she tried to take his microphone away.

She later withdrew assault allegations but claimed the 'vulgar' behavior of the star caused her emotional damage.

However, the Los Angeles County Superior Court disagreed and came down firmly in favor of team Bruno.
