Sony Rolls Out Professional Video Site, Features Director W. Ross Wells.

Sony has launched VideOn a new social video platform for professional filmmakers. Positioning itself as a showcase for high-end digital filmmakers and naturally focusing, no pun intended, on directors that utilize Sony imaging products. This is an interesting foray into brand-curated entertainment.

The first director to be featured is Zenfilm's W. Ross Wells, a national commercial and music video director. Featured in the segment is a selection of Wells' music vids and a national TV spot featuring blues-rockers ZZ Top.
