The sixth part of George A. Romero’s Dead saga is proof that sometimes the dead should stay that way. Movie series’ always have a natural end, after which it becomes foolhardy to resurrect characters, ideas and concepts. That time has come with Survival of the Dead, a weak addition to the zombie series that suffersfrom bad acting, a poor script and a distinct lack of action. The movie is only partially redeemed by a final twist that belongs to a far better movie.
