McDonald's is recalling 12 million Shrek-themed drinking glasses after discovering they contain a dangerous metal called cadmium. Cadmium is a known carcinogen and can cause severe kidney problems and softening of the bones.

I didn't see anywhere that it says where the glasses were actually made but I have to assume it is just more garbage sold to US consumers courtesy of China.
