According to reports, Robert Rodriguez, the director behind the films 'Sin City' and 'Once Upon a Time in Mexico', have been offered by 20th Century Fox to direct the Marvel comic adaptation of Deadpool.
Deadpool will be Rodriguez's third biggest project approched in the past year, he turned down 'Rise of the Apes' but has produced 'Predators' which is due for release in July. It is expected that the project may start mid-2011.
