The Queen's Suite - Movie Trailer

corine
Peter Edwards is one of Britain's most promising jazz arrangers. His dream is to perform Duke Ellington’s Queen’s Suite (which was written in 1959 for the current British Monarch) to the Queen at the Queen Elizabeth Hall. The film follows Peter as he puts together his orchestra, rehearses them and negotiates with Buckingham Palace. Will the Queen attend the final performance? The film provides a unique and intimate insight into the background and career of an exceptional musician. It has an original live soundtrack by The Tomorrow's Warriors Jazz Orchestra.

    • Hi everyone. It's great to see that so many folks are watching the trailer. Today we launched on Kickstarter to raise on finishing funds. I've tried to raise the funds in the UK but no luck. So as one movie producer once said, 'next.' The co-producer Jay D who is based in LA helped me to set up the project on Kickstarter. After 18 months work I know this is our best opportunity to raise the funds we need. It's exciting and scary. I have butterflies in my stomach because we have 60 days, from now until the end of August to raise the funds. I have secured some great gifts for you starting from $3. Please visit us on KICKSTARTER just type in THE QUEEN'S SUITE and please spread the word.

    • Hi thanks for viewing the trailer. It was made independently over a period of eighteen months without any funding. We have been accepted onto Kickstarter to raise the funds for the post-production. Please support us on Kickstarter. We will launch in approximately 2 days, (30th July 2010). We will then have 50 days to raise the finishing funds. We have lots of great gifts for you from online downloads to lunch with one of the UK's leading Executive Producers. Thanks for your support Corine.
