Andrew Garfield, star of the Red Riding Trilogy and The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus has been chosen to play Spider-Man/Peter Parker in Marc Webb's upcoming reboot of the Marvel Comics franchise. The 3D film will be released in theaters on July 3, 2012. (Heat Vision)

    • Surprisingly, Andrew was known as the star of the BAFTA award winning one-off drama "Boy A" (which is currently showing through 4OD), and according to IMDb (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm1940449/), he has been acting since 2005 which includes the drama "Sugar Rush" and the upcoming movie "The Social Network".
