"Jackie Chan was a great choice for the Mr. Miyagi-style character Mr. Han, the maintenance man of the Beverly Hills Luxury Apartments in Beijing. He meets new kid in town Dre Parker (Jaden Smith) and eventually they fill the needs in each other's lives. Chan and Smith work well together and have some pretty good chemistry on screen. Its also nice to see Chan be a little more subdued and play the role with the same kind of quiet dignity and respect that Pat Morita brought to the original."
