Kevin Bacon (every movie you can think of really) has been offered a role in Matthew Vaughan's X-Men: First Class. If cast, the actor and cultural touchstone would be joining James McAvoy (Professor X), Michael Fassbender (Magneto), Alice Eve (Emma Frost), Nicholas Hoult (Beast) Caleb Landry Jones (Banshee) and Lucas Till (Havoc). You know, with a cast made up of seasoned vets and hungry youngsters, this one might be good enough to wipe away memories of X-Men Origins: Wolverine and X-Men: The Last Stand.
