Underground comic's legend and Cleveland native Hervey Pekar died today. The award winning author was found by his wife Joyce earlier this morning. Pekar came to national prominence when the 2003 adaptation of his long running autobiographical comic book American Splendor was released in 2003 to huge critical acclaim.
