Arthur Kanegis, produced www.WarWithoutWinners.com with Paul Newman and filmed Newman in a spot for The Day After, the Jason Robards ABC special that showed nuclear missiles launching over Kansas. When this TV movie immersed 100 million Americans and 200 million Russians in the visceral experience of nuclear war, Kanegis thought that would shock us off the path toward nuclear war. Yet nuclear war continues to threaten the very existence of humanity. Now Arthur realizes that fear won't produce a rational response the the perils facing humanity. So he works instead on films to give us a vision of a better way to run our world.
