Over the past year, I’ve been gradually selling off my dvd collection on Ebay. Last Sunday, I listed the final stragglers. Once the auctions are paid for and shipped, I will be, in effect, dvd-less for the first time in 10 years. Here's why.
  1. groups:
    Entertainment,   Movies,   List-O-Rama
  2. tags:
    DVD BluRay

    • I cannot part with my collection.
      same with books.
i may never read or watch them again but i'll never forget the feeling of enjoyment i had the first time i watched or read them.
      it's a sentiment thing.

    • I love the quality of Blu-Ray, but purchasing is no longer pre-req there. Thanks Netflix.

I've been contemplating a similar move.

    • I keep them because I only have so much hard drive space, streamed movies and shows are shitty video and sound quality by comparison, and they don't take up so much space for me because I keep them in CD books that hold more than 60 disks per book.

    • cus your gonna bank on the internet and computers? cus it's taking up to much space on your wall?
i dont know about you but i love my dvd collection. i love my vhs collection too.
at this point i still dont see a need to get rid of them, nothings really stepping up to take it's place.
