Speaking to the Los Angeles Times, "X-Men: First Class" director Matthew Vaughn says that hollywood studios are killing the superhero genre and may fade out in the future.
Vaughn said "I think [the opportunity to do one], it's only going to be there two or three more times. Then, the genre is going to be dead for a while because the audience has just been pummeled too much.". 'X-men: First Class' is currently being filmed in London and it is due out in 2011.

No shit they are killing super hero movies. 9 out of 10 super hero or comic book movies and terrible. Just terrible. To hell with another X-Men movie. They failed four times already.
