I don't despise technology. I applaud and welcome it...but what I don't want to see is machines used to subjugate, enslave, and oppress people...like what is going on right now. Technology should make it possible for people not to have to work, but have more time for leisure and pursuit of art, music, and education. There is plenty of money to go around so that not a soul would want or need. But greedy capitalism has amassed so much wealth in the hands of a few who take the attitude that everybody has to slave and toil to just eat bread.

That is why I support the Zeitgeist Movement....Eventually we will have the type of system that was envisioned by Gene Roddenberry in his Star Trek TV Show. A world where we get beyond making money and instead share resources and technology.
