Unlike many in the recent parade of films that rushed to incorporate the oh-so-trendy 3rd dimension into the mix, “Resident Evil: Afterlife” actually employs the feature with flair and enthusiasm. Though there isn’t much of either of those qualities in the script or dialogue, the bold visual design, energetic action scenes and high quality of the use of 3D are more than ample consolation.
