What was rumour or close to news is now confirmed, Martin Freeman from the UK Office and the new Sherlock series is set to play Bilbo Baggins.
Early reports wondered if he'd get the role due to a confirmation of more Sherlock episodes, though after the production dealt with other issues it looks like the actor is set to play the top Hobbit.
