    • The thing that has distressed me the most about this video are some of the comments I have seen on the internet.

Some people suggest that the absence of cell towers debunks this business. Even though the time traveler is clearly using a tachion beam transmission device to talk with the time machine crew back in the future.

Some people have suggested that the woman disappearing is a sign that the film has been edited. Because they have never seen a cross fade between scenes in their life.

Some people have even suggested that she is using a hearing aid. To better hear herself talk to herself when she walks down the street. With that kind of far off attention somewhere else movement people talking to remote people get. Because I guess she not only has a hearing aid, but she's also crazy.

Some people who have really been paying attention seem to think this is a scene from Charlie Chaplin's movie. Just watching the video shows it is a DVD extra, some footage of the premiere of the movie. Not a scene from the movie. This is footage of random public attending the premiere or just being in public near the theater. Which might even mean that the (wo)man in question isn't even concerned with "The Circus" but on other business.

If you want to logically prove that it is not a time traveler, please, try to be logical.

    • As a history major, I would like to apply for time travel because for god sakes, if your going to put someone back in time, you better bring a historian who knows their stuff. Now excuse me while I go back to sometime in 16th to 17th century England and declare myself the Glorious Emperor of England.

    • If you look at the last shot it seems that there really isnt anything in his hand. His fingers arent bent like it was holding anything and the part they have outline in the still really looks like the persons hair.

    • Damn, network providers charge a mint if you use your phone overseas, i can only imagine what your bill would look like if you used your phone in a different time!

    • Ok ya it can't be a Cell phone but what if it was a time traveler that didn't quite get it right and the device was some made to look like cell phone but was more radio to communicate to some else thereat the same time? Think about this . if some was to come up wit time travel and they sent people back and didn't it just right this could be some try to get word to another traveler that they missed the right time window or what ever.

Now there have been stories that many know of the de-bunk time traveling Stock broker now the funny thing was even now that this is showing as an urban legend now .. I remember getting a call from Security friend in NY asking to Andrew Carlssin and to see if he was a risk or was living under another name as they just busted him for inside trading .. I didn't think anything of it till years later when saw the reports that are now de-bunked . I talked to my friend later and he said well that was the name he was give by his commander and that the guy was coming in and he had invested heavy in computer stocks and I was called due to my computer security work at the time but no one ever saw the guy or remembers him showing and it was all blown over as a joke go bad and turn into inter-office hoax that went viral.
If there was guy doing inside trading that lied about being time traveler that would be more true that him being a real time travel.. Andrew Carlssin real or not but think if you could travel as he said could you not erase that you wer caught and make it look like just a urban legend? A follow up story to the on below said in 2004 apirl he was billed out byt some posting !million dollar bail adn that Andrew Carlssin failed to show.. but no court records show any one of that name jumping bail or that Andrew Carlssin was on Rikers but my my phone call from my friend said there was some named Andrew Carlssin being busted for inside trading .. So what would be truthful to say is a joke gone bad or real time traveler trying to cash in on low stocks on new inventions and companies after market fall?..but do google the name Andrew Carlssin it fun stuff lol

The time traveling Stock Broker Andrew Carlssin

"NEW YORK-March 19, 2003. Federal investigators have arrested an enigmatic Wall Street wiz on insider-trading charges, and incredibly, he claims to be a time-traveler from the year 2256.
Sources at the Security and Exchange Commission confirm that 44-year-old Andrew Carlssin offered the bizarre explanation for his uncanny success in the stock market after being led off in handcuffs on January 28.
The fact is, with an initial investment of only $800, in two weeks' time he had a portfolio valued at over $350 million. Every trade he made capitalized on unexpected business developments, which simply can't be pure luck. The only way he could pull it off is with illegal inside information.
In the 2002 year of nose-diving stock prices has left most investors crying in their beer. So when Carlssin made a flurry of 126 high-risk trades and came out the winner every time, it raised the eyebrows of Wall Street watchdogs. "If a company's stock rose due to a merger or technological breakthrough that was supposed to be secret, Mr. Carlssin somehow knew about it in advance," says the SEC source close to the hush-hush, ongoing investigation.
When investigators hauled Carlssin in for questioning, they got more than they bargained for: A mind-boggling four-hour confession."
Carlssin declared that he had traveled back in time from over 200 years in the future, when it is common knowledge that our era experienced one of the worst stock plunges in history. Yet anyone armed with knowledge of the handful of stocks destined to go through the roof could make a fortune.
"It was just too tempting to resist," Carlssin allegedly said in his videotaped confession. "I had planned to make it look natural, you know, lose a little here and there so it doesn't look too perfect. But I just got caught in the moment."
In a bid for leniency, Carlssin has reportedly offered to divulge "historical facts" such as the whereabouts of Osama Bin Laden and a cure for AIDS.
All he wants is to be allowed to return to the future in his "time craft." However, he refuses to reveal the location of the machine or discuss how it works, supposedly out of fear the technology could "fall into the wrong hands."
Officials are quite confident the "time-traveler's" claims are bogus. Yet the SEC source admits, "No one can find any record of any Andrew Carlssin existing anywhere before December 2002."

    • Walking with a mobile talking device? Right. Sure. I guess she wanted to talk to everybody else with a "mobile talking device". I heard there were millions of them in 1928. Duh.

      Voted down.

    • "My only theory - as well as many others - is simple... a time traveler on a mobile phone."

Hahaha! Who would she be talking to? What carrier was she using? Did the entire Sprint network travel back in time too so she could chat with her BFF? This is bull.

Well, when it comes to time travel, it's not out of the realm of possibilities that communication devices using quantium computing could simply make a call to the future. Also, it's possible satellites could be in place. Eh?

      Think about it!

    • That's really interesting shit. What could that lady be doing on a CELL PHONE in 1928? I mean, they didn't have mini AM radio's did they? Those didn't come out til the later 30's or 40's. So what could she have been holding up to her ear?

Plus it looked like a man in a woman's outfit. So whoever this was didn't want to be recognized so they wore big clothes to be indistinguishable. Man or woman? Radio or cell phone? Time traveller or simple answer that we're all looking over? Idk.

      Any theories?
