Horrific amputation made into Hollywood drama
Danny Boyle's 127 Hours closed the 54th BFI London film festival last night, just as his Slumdog Millionaire ended the 52nd edition.
Boyle's new film is based on a true story about extreme sport fanatic Aron Ralston who gets his arm trapped under a rock for 127 hours whilst exploring caves alone in Utah. James Franco plays Ralston and has been praised for his performance.
Below are both the trailer for the new movie and the real news footage of Aron's horrific tale when he was forced to cut his own arm off to survive.

What an experience. Powerful stuff. Not sure I want to see the film to be honest, I've heard enough already.
