The Hollywood Foreign Press Association (aka HFPA) announced this morning (via ComingSoon) that actor Robert De Niro would be receiving the Cecil B. DeMille Award for his outstanding contribution to the entertainment field. Chosen by the HFPA Board of Directors, the Cecil B. DeMille Award is given annually to talented individuals who have made an incredible impact on the world of entertainment.
