    • The first color movie was the Wizzard of Oz, and the second color
movie was Gone with the Wind, both 1939 copyrights, before WW2
broke out in Europe. I own a pair of Klipsch corner horn loaded
speakers designed on the Doppler principle which was researched
in 1943 by Paul Klipsch in collaboration with the Bell Laboratories
on a DoD research funding grant. The U.S. military wanted to use
sound as a weapon. Fortunately only consumer applications evolved
from that research. But the most freaky thing that occurred was the
Philadelphia experiment that wanted to make ships invisible. They
used Einstein's research which when it went awry, is theorized to
have teletransported the sailors, animals and ships through hyper
space. Seeing things in color was only the beginning.
